I just had to post this, these are the lyrics to our wedding song... I remember a dear friend showed me this song and I just thought, I want that as our wedding song, our first dance.. It really isn't your typical wedding song, but oh how it is fitting for life... Isn't it weird how God works... Not that this song is a reflection of the actual outcome of my situation, but really it just amazes me! In any case it is a good way to look at love, and really loving a person... The song is on my play list if you want to hear it

Loving a person, by: Sara Groves
Loving a person just the way they are, it's no small thing
It takes some time to see things through
Sometimes things change, sometimes we're waiting
We need grace either way
Hold on to me
I'll hold on to you
Let's find out the beauty of seeing things through
There's a lot of pain in reaching out and trying
It's a vulnerable place to be
Love and pride can't occupy the same spaces baby
Only one makes you free
Hold on to me
I'll hold on to you
Let's find out the beauty of seeing things through
If we go looking for offense
We're going to find it
If we go looking for real love
We're going to find it
Hold on to me
I'll hold on to you
Let's find out the beauty of seeing things through
Loving a person just the way they are, it's no small thing
That's the whole thing
Loving me just the way I am, it's no small thing
It takes some time, It takes some time,
It takes some time, It takes some time
